London’s famous choir by: Kallie Sims We all know what’s happening around Trussville areas but do we know about other places? In London a famous choir was established in 2003 and has been going good ever since. These singers have dedicated there time to this choir and made it the one of the most famous choirs we have today.
Over the years the London choir has expanded to over sixty people. The day that they really became a great choir was there concert they had in December 2004, everybody heard them and loved the way there voice hit the notes. One thing this choir is known for is going around the world and giving kids of all ages the opportunity to go to their practices and letting them show off their talents by singing with them.
This choir group travels to many different concerts that they aren’t participating in to get a good idea of how to approve there singing skills. The recent places they have traveled to are, Jerusalem, Ramallah, and Bethlehem. Even though all the traveling does take up a lot of time, it pays off because it gives them many different ways to sing their songs.

The Internet Choir Dr. Barry Cheethama senior lecturer in the School of Computer Science at the University of Manchester, has put together academic expertise in communications, in processing to make a choir online. In order to do this he has to get on “ultra broadband” networks to deliver sound and images successfully back and forth on computers to people that are participating. If there is too much of a delay then this project will not work and they will have to end it.
The voices that are traveling down the wires will have to be processed and digitized so it will be quick to achieve high sound quality. Then all the singers’ voices will be immerged to seem like they are all singing together in one concert hall. The only thing that they feel will bring them down is trying to have a conductor to control and rehearse online and to have people in different places in Europe and they can’t interact with each other.
Not only doing this project would be fun but its caring for others, because one of his goals is to let people of all ages and all abilities perform in this online function because he explains If there is someone in a wheelchair and they have a great singing voice all they have to do is get online and send it to my computer. Sense people in Europe are all about orchestras and bands it won’t be that hard to find people to sing in his online choir. Broadband is now in process of being delivered for some limited applications. Dr. Cheetham hopes this will be a success and drive the future development of Internet communication
